On 11 July 2015, the founding assembly was held with 17 members. Today the community has more than 120 families.

Our vision is to successfully unite Bosniaks in Mannheim and work together to preserve our faith, culture and all other positive values of our people.

Our mission is to convey messages of peace, coexistence and dialogue that Islam and our culture unequivocally place as the highest priorities for the successful functioning of human society.

We actively participate in various organisations and initiatives, including:

• AKIG - Working Group for the Integration of Muslim People in Mannheim, as well as IGBW - Islamic Community of Baden-Württemberg.
• Interreligious Dialogue for Tolerance and Coexistence
• CIG (Christian-Islamic Society).
• Forum of Religions

We are signatories of the Mannheimer Erklärung für ein Zusammenleben in Vielfalt (Mannheim Declaration for Living Together in Diversity).
